Hot Mill Weather Shield

A large-scale weather shield enclosing the hot mill at Hulett Aluminium, shaped as much by its environmental performance as by its industrial function.

The building's section is designed to draw air upward through convection, allowing heat from the mill to escape and naturally cooling the vast internal volume below.

The result is a robust industrial envelope that protects the process while reducing reliance on mechanical ventilation.
